Sweden "Saxnäs Fishing Camp" Trouts & Graylings

 

In the western Lapland, in the middle of the mountains between Sweden and Norway, the village of Saxnäs is a true paradise for the fishing of wild brown trouts, of artic chars and also graylings. The main stream is the Kultsjoan where trouts over 3 kg are taken every year and also some nice graylings downstream. There are as well several rivers in the nearby of Saxnäs : The Ransaran with big artic chars and nice brown trouts to try both on the fly, the Satsan with his « fly only «  strech with many trouts in the 40 to 50 cm range, the Marsan which is home of a nice grayling and trout population plus many others and a lot of mountain lakes  as well.Accomodation is done at Saxnäsgarden in cosy chalets close to a lake, there is a good restaurant and by staying there you have access to the swimming pool, the sauna, relaxation, fitness, massage and beauty center …Many excursions can be done all around and taken from the hotel.
